More Varied

Behind the Edit

Restraint

More Varied is rooted in restraint, not as minimalism for its own sake, but as a form of confidence.

Instinct

Everything here is chosen for that instant when something reads unmistakably as you. As if it's always been yours.

In practice

More Varied is a jewelry label based in Canada, focused on pieces with character and longevity. Working in close partnership with experienced jewelers, each piece is selected or produced in limited quantities, with an emphasis on proportion, material integrity, and detail.

Pearls sit at the center of the collection—not for their symmetry, but for their variation. No two are identical. Subtle differences in surface, shape, and tone are not corrected, but preserved. Each piece is chosen for how it feels when worn: finished, resolved, and lived-in rather than precious.

The brand is shaped by a background in visual composition, where objects are considered not only for how they look, but for the role they play within a larger context. Jewelry is approached as something functional and expressive at once—designed to move with the body, and to hold its own without excess.

Collections are developed gradually, often around a single idea or gesture. Many pieces exist only once, or in very small runs. The aim is not to follow seasonal cycles, but to create work that remains relevant through use.

Letter from the editor

More Varied began as a way to give form to lived-in taste, the kind shaped over time, not dictated by trends. The focus is on form, proportion, and materials with character.

The name is a tribute to morvarid, the Persian word for pearl. A nod to what's timeless, natural and never quite the same twice.
