The Story of the Edit

The edit comes before the collection.

More Varied is built around the belief that jewelry should feel personal before it feels perfect. Each piece begins with an instinct: a proportion, material or gesture worth following.

01 / The Instinct

Jewelry should feel discovered, not prescribed.

More Varied began with the belief that jewelry should do more than complete a look. The right piece should feel instinctive, personal and difficult to replace.

The collection is edited through that lens: character over excess, presence over polish and pieces that leave room for the person wearing them.

02 / The Pearl

Variation is the point.

Pearls sit at the centre of the collection not for their symmetry, but for their differences. Irregular surfaces, unexpected shapes and subtle shifts in tone are preserved as character.

No two are identical. That natural variation is not corrected or disguised. It is often what gives a piece its presence.

03 / The Process

Developed slowly. Produced sparingly.

Pieces begin with a proportion, material or gesture and are developed closely with experienced jewellers. Many are made only once or in deliberately small quantities.

The aim is not to follow a seasonal calendar, but to create work that remains relevant through use and becomes more personal over time.

04 / The Name

A name rooted in pearls.

More Varied takes its name from morvarid, the Persian word for pearl.

It is a reference to something timeless, natural and never quite the same twice—and to the idea that individuality is something to preserve rather than perfect away.

Letter from the Editor

Taste develops over time.

More Varied began as a way to give form to lived-in taste—the kind shaped gradually rather than dictated by trends.

Everything here is chosen for the moment something reads unmistakably as you, as though it has always belonged to you.
